The Companion Gardener: A Helping Hand

The Companion Gardener is for the recuperating, the elderly, or the busy person who can’t get her garden cleaned up for spring. I take care of outdoor gardens or houseplants, vegetables or flowers.

  • When you or your loved one is unable to garden as she wishes…
  • When the weeds keep coming and he can’t get out there like he used to…
  • When you would love a window full of color and glossy green plants but you don’t have the tools…
  • When your garden looks like “a mess” and you don’t have the time or energy to tackle it…
  • When you are going away and need someone to keep it looking good…
  • When you want to help me or just sit and watch while I do the work and you enjoy the healing pleasures of nature…

I will be your helping hands.

  • I will create a window box as a gift, and offer ongoing watering as well.
  • I go to private homes, apartments, and long term care facilities.
  • My specialty is working alongside plant lovers who want to help me a little or a lot.
  • And I love to listen to garden stories!

I am a chaplain, ordained minister (UCC), Master Gardener, and Activity Coordinator in eldercare. Call me when you need a Companion Gardener!

Mother’s Day Special

For Mother’s Day I will help your mom record her stories and bring her a plant.
